Eligibility for a Jobseeker visa in Germany:

• A person applying for a visa must hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s from either a German University or a foreign equivalent of the same
• A person must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the related field
• A person applying should have the minimum required funds for their 6-month-long stay in Germany before applying
• Processing travel or medical insurance for the entirety of your stay in the country is also a requirement
• Total cost and processing time for the visa:
• The total cost of the visa can go up to approximately INR 6200 and the total processing time of a German Jobseeker Visa is usually 4 to 6 weeks.
  
  The document checklist for German visa:
• Proof of financial resources
• Proof of health insurance for the stay duration
• Proof of accommodation
• Academic qualification documents
• Update CV
• Cover letter
• 3 passport photos
• A copy of the passport data page
• Valid passport
• Completed filled German Job Seeker Visa application form
• Once a person gets employed in Germany on a Jobseeker visa, they are required to apply for an employment residence permit.
  
  The employment residence permit can be obtained in two ways:
  1. Apply for Employment Residence Permit:
  This permit will mostly be sponsored by the employer. After 5 years, you can apply for a permanent residence permit.
  
  2. Apply for an EU Blue Card:
  To get an EU Blue Card, you need to have an employment offer of 44,800 euros per annum salary or at least 34,994 euros.
  
  The permanent residence permit can be directly applied in 33 months on the EU Blue Card. If the person applying has German language skills, the same can be applied in 21 months.
