In a recent study, it was found that the most preferred destination for people who wish to immigrate abroad is Canada. Canada topped the list of countries where immigration aspirants want to move and individuals from a whopping 29 countries showed interest in moving to Canada.
The study was done using Google search data, wherein the monthly search result volume of every country was analyzed. The search volume of certain keywords such as “Move to (Destination), Study in (Destination) and Live in (Destination)” which are mostly used by immigration aspirants was used. Also, search data was analyzed in all languages.
Canada was the most searched destination which made it the most desired country where people want to immigrate to.
This achievement by Canada doesn’t come as a surprise as Canada is the country with more than 100 immigration pathways, affordable cost of living, world-class education, free healthcare, high employment rate, low crime rate and is also ranked in the top 10 most peaceful countries in the world.
In the study, a breakup of countries which desire Canada to be their destination of choice was done. The countries were divided based on the continent they belonged to.
In Asia, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Qatar were the countries that had the most number of individuals who were interested in immigrating to Canada.
In Europe, Belgium, France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom were the countries that had the most number of individuals who were interested in immigrating to Canada.
In North America, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico were the countries which had the most number of individuals who were interested in immigrating to Canada.
In Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia, Zimbabwe were the 13 countries which had the most number of individuals who were interested in immigrating to Canada.
