Canadian Health Department has approved its first coronavirus vaccine on December 9, 2020. This approval will result In at the beginning of a tremendous vaccination campaign in its era. Pfizer and BioNTech Manufacturing had provided approval of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As per the CBC report, after the United Kingdom and Bahrain, Canada is the third country to license the vaccine.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted that 30,000 doses of the vaccine are likely to arrive in Canada roughly before Monday, and approximately 249,000 doses could arrive by the end of the year 2020. He also stated that it is possible that millions more would be available by the beginning of 2021.

Health Canada is in contact with three other manufactures for the approval of their vaccines.
